About

I’m a twenty-two year old software developer from Guernsey currently residing in the UK to finish off my studies for a degree in Computer Science.  I’m also engaged and due to be married in August of this year, so ladies, as much as a full-time geek may turn you on, keep your hands off.  My new career is oriented in informations system development (I think that’s a fanciful way of saying software developer) working in VB.NET and SQL although I’ll be careful not to make the mistake of naming the company I work for again.

Some may be wondering why I’ve referred to this page as a "journal", here the dictionary definition clears things up for us. "A personal record of occurrences, experiences, and reflections kept on a regular basis; a diary."

I also work for reformsoft.org in my spare time, in case you’re wondering what I do outside of work hours.  We’re a small software team based both inside and outside of the UK working on a variety of software.  We don’t specialise in a specific area and mainly write software for the enjoyment factor, which sufficed to say, does exist in software development.

I’m also an avid follower of Jesus - this tends to offend some people for reasons unknown to me but if you ever have any questions regarding religion/Christianity then I’ll always try my hardest to answer, although don’t expect a great theological debate on creation as I’m not really equipped to argue to the ends of the earth on that particular subject.
